Hard to say. I know there was an issue with the deeds update that was causing some people to crash. I haven't had any issues, so I couldn't guess. You could try the repair option from the launcher and see if that does anything.
Most likely your computer is the problem. Could be overheating.

What is your hardware / brand / OS?

The "New" Deed Log is going to be taken out of the game as it is a key reason that crashing is still continuing.

New Deed Log will return after they do more work on it.

My computer has little to do with what's going on. Even for almost 200+ hours with the same exact build for years there was barely any crashes. Up until the 64bit update the game showed signs of frequent crashing.

I've been hearing that the deed log is the issue with these crashes since.

I saw the new Deed window in a video. It's so horrible and ugly, it looks nothing like the rest of the UI. If they plan to remake the UI so it's scalabe and looks this ugly, then I'm glad I dropped the Retail version of LOTRO, it's only getting worse and worse. It's only a matter of time before players reach a breaking point and start abandoning the game in droves. The way SSG mock and make fun of them while they steal their money is outrageous.
I run a 4070 super gpu, and an intel 8700 3.7 ghz, and 16gb or ram, 16 is not alot, but i run all other games..after this update..i crash all the time in combat..when using abilities.
It seems running around in bearform solves some of it..but..there is certainly something wrong<3
after the previous patch I was crashing a lot doing anything, so I swapped to using the 64bit client which previously would not login for me, forcing me to use the 32bit one. After changing to the 64bit client I haven't crashed once, so maybe give that a go.

Yea it still randomly crashing, annoying as hell, i crash i think 50x times. Before the deed log update i crash 0 times, played 5 months.
I turned off triple buffering and that seemed to help
I was having the same issue so I played with different setting adjustments and I haven't crashed since I turned off triple buffering
I've crashed once in a fight and once to the deed log problem since moving. In today's downtime they said they were looking at putting the old deed log back in.

For me it has only crashed when I have had the new deed log open. I found out that you can still access the old deed log with Ctrl+L.

Latest update has reinstated the old one while they work on fixing the new one so you don't need to use Ctrl+L anymore. You can just use your usual keybind or use the UI button for it. Don't think you can access the new one at all for now.
