Where can i find support for old accounts?
I registered ~10 years ago (on lotro.com, with a username/password combination, not email). When I returned, for convenience, I linked the account to Steam. In March, I successfully paid for a month of subscription and the purchase of LotRO Point package via Steam.
When this evening, right after the Orcrist EU server reboot, I tried to buy 600 (500+100) coins, the purchase went through on Steam (the purchase history on Steam confirms this), but the balance in LotRO Shop was not replenished.
I don’t understand how I can write to support. From the client, I go to my profile at https://myaccount.standingstonegames.com/, but when I click the Support button, it redirects to https://standingstonegames.zendesk.com/ where the site requires an email. The combination of email (specified in my profile) with my password is rejected.

maybe go to https://help.standingstonegames.com
and click on the "Submit a request" button

maybe the form does not accept special characters/tabs in the email address field

That doesn't mean you're linked to steam. Your lotro account is independent, you can still log in to it even if you don't launch through steam.

Have you tried this one: If you lost/forgotten your password, visit https://myaccount.standingstonegames.com and use the 'Forgotten your password?' option in the 'Manage Account' section.

As I understand it you haven't done anything with your account for awhile. * A few years back SSG zero'd out all passwords on accounts that hadn't been played in over 2 years as an anti-hijact feature.

Those accounts need to email SSG (option #2 above) and tell them the account name, server, 1 of the characters associated to the account. Your name & email and optional any CC used to pay for stuff on that account.

Once they know it's your account, they'll send you a password so you can log in and then change the password to whatever.

I've done both methods just since the transfers started.
