You could also install the plugin 'baruk' which gives you extra bars, that can expand/collapse and more. You can place them anywhere, and position them horizontal or vertical.
When you start playing around with plugins, I can recommend the 'LOTRO Plugin Compendium' ( http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info663-LOTROPluginCompendium.html ), which is a tool to manage plugin installation/upgrade/deletion.
I use the following plugins:
Baruk (quickslots)
Hugebag (one unified bag)
Buffbars (visual buff/debuff tracker)
Daily task reference (task board checker)
Lotropad (server-wide notepad, useful for taking notes when playing a lot of alts)
Good luck!

The video posted by Sapience on Monday -- LOTRO Update 13 New Inventory Revamp
http://youtu.be/Ibq_vJ9hACU
Features the Engineer - Chris Martin, AKA Narel -- "Mr. Lua API"
The point being -- the new U13 inventory system is pretty much "HugeBag".
