New to game...armour question

I am a Hobbit hunter, just began. What type of armour do I choose?

Hunters wear medium armor. Ideally you'll be wanting armor with Agility, since that's your main stat. At low levels you don't always have a lot of choice, though.

At lower levels it doesn't really make a lot of difference what armour you are choosing. Wear the best drop armour you find. As a hunter, Agility is of most importance, but if you have a piece with something else but a major jump in the straight Armour rating it will work until you find a better piece.

After level 30~35 you should start to pay more attention to armour. Before that you'll be out-levelling your gear too fast to make much difference.

wear medium armor, ask around on chat for Tailor to make your armor sets. the uncrited crafted armor is better that what up pick up as loot or rewards, the Crited crafted armor just have an extra mod and item level is a lot higher. If you have not pick a profession then pick Explorer, which is Mining, Forestry and Tailor. Using the Forestry skills to convert animal hides to leather pieces and collect Fibers from trees then level up Tailor. Around level 70, the better armor is what you get from quest packs rewards and their faction vendors. Tailor armor disappears, no recipes for complete sets of armor around the level 66 to 72, unless tailor is kindred with Loth and Mirkwood and you have Loth and Mirkwood to buy the single shot recipes there. Level 80 to 85 tailor has complete crafted sets. After 85, better armor is what you get from quest packs rewards and their faction vendors. Tailors can have recipes for level 90 to 95 sets of armor.

medium armor with agility and vitality. check skirmish camp at bree. you'll get a nice set at level 25. it can take you to level 35.
