Can't transfer?
So I'm fairly new, and I made the mistake of making my new account on an EU server (I'm US)...already bought Steely Dawn etc.
Whenever I click transfer, "Your worlds" is blank in the launcher transfer wizard. Anything I'm doing wrong?

just roll another character on the server you want. how much did you play on the eu server? You are not limited by number of character per account, you can create a number of character on each server. Since you are new, you might not be able to transfer. not hard to reroll a character. check http://lotro-wiki.com/ for info on LOTRO. Stuff from Steely Dawn i think is account wide, so every character you make gets any items it provided.

I was already level 13 and not really wanting to start all over...
Will I be able to transfer after a bit of time? Cause I can work with that :)

Level 13 takes barely any time to get to.

Not from an EU server to a US one.

The transfer process is NOT global. Read the details on the main LOTRO forum at {LINK REMOVED} for details on which servers are available for transfer to and from and WHEN.

Okay, thank you guys :(
Which US server would you recommend? (I'm east coast, but I wouldn't mind west ping, it's only an MMORPG)
And digital, I got to about 19 in 2-3 hours. I mean, yes, that's not that long, but not really a fan of redoing it again xD

Turbine servers are located in Boston, MA. Needs to be on one of these worlds = Arkenstone,
Crickhollow, Landroval, Gladden,

because there is a time table system of when transfers start for each server.

I just made a new one on Gladden :P
My old one was an a EU one..too lazy to lookup cause it doesn't even matter now but it started with an S. Almost back to where I was now :) Im glad my steely dawn transferred

Hmmm, does anyone know if I can recover a character from about 5 years ago? I just installed LOTRO through steam (obviously) whereas way back when I had LOTRO installed independently, and I was able to log in with my old username and password, but when I logged into Brandywine (which is where I used to play) my old characters were nowhere to be found. I'd gotten a good ways past Bree with a guardian hobbit and I'd like to play him again. Any chance of a reunion?

Turbine doesn't delete characters. You might want to check the other servers in case you're mistaken about the one you were playing on.

I have the EXACT same problem. I didn't quite understand what you guys meant in the comments above, so could you tell me why "Your Worlds" are BLANK and don't show anything
By the way I have several charcters on different worlds and this STILL happens.

instead of having thousands of players on 29 servers transferring all at once and grinding everything to a halt, they came up with a schedule where ONE server at a time is allowed to transfer. probably your world/server hasnt been activated yet. more here:
