Integrate Steam Login

Devs you would have SO MANY more users if you integrated Steam login
I have played DDO and Lotro off and on for years right now I can't log into anything and while I now have 1 of them letting me log into a new account the other won't... its a complete ♥♥♥♥-show and there is no reason for it, trivial thing to do.

You need to fix that

yeah, signed. i just created a new account - it was super cumbersome by 2025 standards. the form is buggy it kept saying the date is not valid, the password requirements are stupid, it took me way longer than it should, i was already almost giving up

Not likely to happen for "Steam Login".

For DDO & LOTRO they both use separate Accounts so having a LOTRO Account =/= DDO Account and the same where a DDO Account =/= LOTRO Account.

One can contact Support to get an e-mail to be for both Accounts but they don't natively offer such.

If you want any kind of traction on that, you need to post on the official forums. The devs don't come on here.

and in my searching to learn that and try to find away around the fact that by default I cant use the same email for both because someone really through there account management system through :)

I learned that there are plenty of players that would come back but cant be arsed to muck with the mess that is the current account system. Its a VERY trivial thing to integration Steam Authentication with just about anything a web site, directly into the game, etc.

It would take a monkey maybe a couple hours I say that as a monkey that has done this more than a few times. Its VERY low hanging fruit that would improve access to the game and wouldn't hurt anything at all.

That is sadly common with property management groups
If they dont care enough to support the Steam community that is fine there are other games I can go play.

But if they do they will find my feedback here. I'll check back in on LOTRO in a year or so it may even have yet another owner by then :) maybe the account situation will be better to
