How much more difficult is Difficulty 9: Heroic +2 to the base game
I solo a lot and hate dying. (I like the unfelled titles). How much harder is each difficulty? Maybe Difficulrt 6 Fearless +3 is better?

Does Difficulty 9: Heroic +2 still feel like a winnable game. Does it just slow you down or does it turn the game into a bulletstorm where you have to minmax everything to have a hope of survivlal? Can you do Difficulty 9 with a friend and stocking up on consumables?

The max is pretty punishing if you pull more than one enemy and you'd need a group for most elite encounters, unless you're playing something like Beorning with a focus on healing and defence and 'really' know what you are doing. Playing the game takes a lot longer though and can be very frustrating.

It's also much harder at the lower levels when a class doesn't have all their kit.

I think most solo players go for 1-4. A duo might go for 5-6. A trio might go for 7. Etc.

You'd need consumables, buffs and you'd value crafted gear a lot more whilst levelling. You do need to min/max quite a bit on the higher difficulties.

Play around with it. As long as you set it at Difficulty 3 and never choose below that you can change it whenever you like between 3-9 and still get all the titles.

I would set it to 3 until level 20 so that it's easier to get the undying titles and then play around with it after that.

Need to set it to 3+ before you hit level 11 to get all the titles, if you didn't know.

But as a new character aren’t you fighting against weak level 4 enemies in the easier areas?

Thanks yeah I’ve got no idea what difficulty to pick but vanilla is a cake walk.
I’m thinking 6 now based on your comment because I’m playing with a friend
