It's also much harder at the lower levels when a class doesn't have all their kit.
I think most solo players go for 1-4. A duo might go for 5-6. A trio might go for 7. Etc.
You'd need consumables, buffs and you'd value crafted gear a lot more whilst levelling. You do need to min/max quite a bit on the higher difficulties.
Play around with it. As long as you set it at Difficulty 3 and never choose below that you can change it whenever you like between 3-9 and still get all the titles.
I would set it to 3 until level 20 so that it's easier to get the undying titles and then play around with it after that.
Need to set it to 3+ before you hit level 11 to get all the titles, if you didn't know.
