do you have dx9 installed?

do you have dx11 installed?

run dxdiag then display tab then right hand column feature levels should tell you

Thanks for the answer, I tried everything. Can only start on Direxct 9, the remaining options are grayed out

if it is grayed out, one could assume the game cannot find dx11 installed on your machine

Make sure in your file that DisplayAdapter=1 and not =0

This fixed it for me.

Just change the 0 to a 1. It should fix it.

game has been running on dx11 when new desktop purchased with win 11 since Dec 2021 with these settings. nothing to fix
