I know this has nothing to do with this game, but does anyone actually have any idea if this game will come to Steam? I can't stand Epic Games company. I am assuming that if it's available now on Epic, then it will probably arrive on GoG and here too?

Also something that is important about this game LOTRO.
Do they still offer a relatively expensive subscription service alongside play for free (My understanding is that this game as developed into something that is severely storage dependent and the only way to get that is to subscribe for it or something? Or have things changed since Turbine no longer have anything to do with the game?

Yes, VIP still exists, it's probably their main source of income after all.
You can buy storage by grinding though.

For LOTR: Return to Moria, it's hard to say. I would guess Epic Games will have a 1-Year Exclusive and then LOTR: RTM will be on Steam possibly in Late 2024.

If you go VIP for at least one month you unlock a lot of bag storage even when your VIP ends and you can use your Lotro Points to purchase more slots on store sales.

And yes, typically need to wait a year for the exclusive contract to expire and then come to steam or GOG. BUT, apparently that is likely a blessing b/c it needs a lot of bug squashing first, so be thankful you haven't bought it yet...

yeah it's always a year with the epic exclusives, i remember because i wanted chivalry 2 on steam but had to wait a year

A friend bought the game and apparently it's an absolute mess. FPS spikes, game isn't optimised. She told me, it's very common to get into rooms to explore, only to discover the way you came in, no longer even exists. It's as if the game seals you into rooms and it becomes impossible to get out again.
She had to restart quite a lot of times because of this severe issue. She even contacted the developers and they said they where aware of it, but they need to fix other bugs first (a game breaking bug, and they say they want to fix minor bugs first instead), it saves what's in her inventory, but not what is in her chests. This game if it was here would probably be early access, with the way it is currently. I will definately wait until they get the game fixed, because I won't buy it in that mess, I am already sick and tired of buying EA here lol

Hmmm, have not seen that mentioned in the handful of gameplay reviews I've watched, but, you report devs are aware of this bug. Maybe it only affects certain systems or perhaps game start 'seeds' since if not mistaken the environment/mine is procedurally generated.
