You're not "forced" to pay with real money. You can always grind for ingame points and use those.
You can buy expansions with real money if you'd prefer not having to grind for them.
I see, thank you for your reply.
Your normal characters are always good guys.
There is violence in the sense that you kill monsters, animals, etc. but there isn't dismemberment or blood.
Basically - you're supporting rhe fellowship, doing backstage work to help help in their quest. Like dealing with other threats that could follow them or even preparing the way in front. It follows the books more closely.
Up till the destruction of the ring that is, after that it's a more original story dealing with some stuff that happened later or made up.
Oh I see, that's good to know. Thank you for sharing this information with me.
I'll try out the game tomorrow.
Violence is part of the "regular" gameplay loop in the sense that you are defeating servants of the Enemy, including other humans, in combat and killing them to complete quests, farm deeds, gain experience, or acquire loot. Blood is depicted in several icons, and bleeding is a way to apply DoTs, and wounds are a type of status effect. All wounds are only visible on the status bar. Breaking limbs after falling is a temporary status effect represented only in the status bar. The player character is never "killed", but runs out of morale. An ESRB rating is provided on the Steam page for the game.
Interrupts are very important; when an enemy has an orange or green ring around their feet, it means they're about to cast something that is more likely to cause you harm than the average attack. Be sure to also use your status effect cleanse ability. Fellowship maneuvers aren't super-helpful.
Thank you for your very helpful information. I didn't get to play it at the time I said "I'll try out the game tomorrow." I saw the opening cut-scene then it immediately went onto the character customisation screen. I didn't know what I'd make my character look like then other problems came irl then my game did something funny. Not sure if it was a crash or a disconnection from the game being afk for too long, have no idea what happened to be honest with you. All I know is that my game wasn't running when I got back to it. It's like something automatically exited the game. Anyways, thank you everyone for all the information and answers you provided for me, really helped me heaps. I'll test the game out properly sometime in future when I don't have too much going on. As my war cry for the game...
FOR MIDDLE-EARTH! AND FOR...ASLAN? lol.
Ahh, makes sense.
