Strange instances of LOTRO uninstalling itself and core game files missing
Over my last 6 months of playing, the game has uninstalled itself twice. Highly confusing.
I was playing just yesterday and now I have 11 files missing (presumeably core game files). and now I have a 16 GB downlaod to do.

So how this came about was, I logged in, as normal. No game sounds. Checked audio sliders and mixer on PC, seemed fine, so I logged off and restarted.
2nd time, logged in, login menu misic, as soon as I ogged in, blank blue game screen, no music.

SO I verifided my files and now it's redownloading pretty much the entire game. SOMEHOW the core game files go..corrupted, I guess?

Kinda odd, anyone else experienced anythnig similar to this?

Most likely an anti-malware program scanned and quarantined those files as false positive threats.

Possibility, Malwayrebytes is the only program I really use. I have most of my games in there under exceptions, so I'll add LOTRO in as an exclusino and see if that helps.

Did you verify your files with steam? You should never do that with games like lotro and eso.

Well i wasn't sure if some files were missing, because of the blue screen ingame, so I did it to make sure. Never bothered me having to redownload the game
