High Res Texture Pack
When I downloaded the game, I chose not to download the optional high resolution textures. Where can I find a link for it? Would I be able to play the game while the textures download?

check the Options for the LOTRO launcher, should be something to start the Hi Rez texture download. I think that downloads on the next update,b ut i am not sure, best to start the download before you go to bed.

I didn't see a download option in the launcher, just the option to use the high res data. I ticked the option and the launcher reloaded like the setting was being applied, but no actual download took place. I have the graphics on ultra, would that be the high res pack?

I struggled with this for a very long time and then one day it asked me again if i wanted the high res texture pack so i said yes...... I have no idea how to get it other than the auto prompt that comes up now and then

When the launcher is open, click on the down arrow (near the _ and x). Go to options and mark the option for High-res. Then, when you start, the launcher will download the textures. I guess a new option will appear at Textures in the game options.
