Crafting Large Carry-All is recommended
Crafting OR Dye Small Carry-All depending on your desires.
I'd personally go with more crafting, since there's SO many crafting materials in this damn game.
It's often most useful to put a crafting bag in the shared storage. Metalsmith and Weaponsmith both use the same ores so being able to put all those ores in the shared storage so they can both access them is handy. Using the bag for that frees up a ton of shared storage slots.
A lot of experienced players have explorer on their main character so they can gather wood, ore and leather on the character they play the most. That explorer then sticks everything into the shared storage quickly and continues on their way. When the storage starts getting full you log onto your other crafters, take out what they need and put it into their personal storage.
So, the more space you have in shared storage for crafting materials, the less you get interrupted by needing to move things around.
