The Lord of the Rings Online™

Password required on every start?
Is this bypassable? Getting back into the game for a bit and wanted to dink around, but looks like i have to save my long password into a notepad file to copy-pasta every time?

No way to bypass this? It's already linked to my steam account.

Have to use your password to log in every time.

LOTRO isn't "linked" to Steam. You are just starting it up from that and have the Download through Steam.

Passwords are meant to be remembered, not kept somewhere on a note. Unless you use certain software that keeps them all.

Unfortunate.
Steam Library > LOTRO > Properties > General
Type "-nosplash -skiprawdownload -username blahblah -password 123456" into the launch options
Obviously replace blahblah and 123456 with the relevant username and password
You don't need -nosplash and -skiprawdownload to remember the password but it disables some annoying and pointless time wasters whenever you start up the client.
It will NOT work after an update, but the solution is very simple, just close and restart the launcher.

Thank you. I was hoping something like this would exist.

Does this only work for LOTRO when it's on Steam? I've been trying to find a way to skip the two cinematics that show every time the game launches for a long time.
It should work outside Steam, AFAIK it's the same executable. These aren't Steam features, they're just line commands. However I've never tried it.
