But you are right, this issue is visible as soon as in Archet and in fact, even on their Yondershire promo picture.

So, it's clearly a downgrade and something in need of fixing.
YES! This is the water I was looking for. The new water looks so ugly. The craziest thing is that they are using the ugly water even for promo shots :(
Perhaps it's DX9 vs. DX11 rendering issue? But it should be fixed either way.
What setting/client should I use for 'old' water? DX9, DX11, 32-bit, 64-bit?
You would need to to write to support, report bug and ask them to change default settings for all stationary water bodies.

I wrote a support ticket but got no answer. But I hope they will fix it. The new water is horrible.
