Biggest Population server

i want to get back into the game again but know this game isnt the biggest, whats the server with the biggest population?

Evernight, EU Server.

Transfers are only EU to EU or NA to NA though if you'd wish to Transfer Servers.

All LOTRO Servers are Hosted from the same New Jersey, USA Server Host Location so if in North America, the "Latency/Ping" will be the same for NA, EU or Legendary Servers.

I see you are from the US, i presume{?} you will be playing nights and evenings so your best bet in terms of population is Arkenstone, followed by Crickhollow/Gladden.

Strong might be to ... strong of a word , but it's still going steady. The pop, while low has been running about the same for a number of years now seeing various boosts here and there (like when it was 100% totally free to play during the height of the pandemic and then when they did the 2 all regions quests give a way coupons).

- Arkenstone/Brandywine > Crickhollow > Gladden > Landroval

For EU
- Pick Evernight, everything else is barely comparable in population.

The anniversary patch/event has really help the population overall. Noticed there were over 1000 on Arkenstone the other day.

hasn't helped the lag though lol

Lag seems to be getting worse how it usually does when the Game's Optimization is starting to fall behind. Not enough for Servers to Crash or Lots of Players Crashing/Disconnected/Kicked from any Server but enough to where almost everyone will be experiencing moments of Lag when they pop up.
