i just pay one month with steam wallet, do i need to cancel the subscription or its going to expire in one month and not charge me?

There used to be a blurb in it saying:

'if YOU don't cancel this prior to the end of the sub, it WILL be automatically renewed.'

Either way, keep an eye on the amount of time that's pasted and on the 29th day cancel the sub to ensure it doesn't get renewed.

Whenever you pay on LOTRO through Steam, it doesn’t even auto-renew, because it has to go through the extra layer of payment i.e. you have to physically log in to confirm the transaction through Steam, and often have to do Steam Guard authentication as well. It doesn’t even renew it when you’re in-game, it just kicks you out when your VIP lapses and when you log back in, you are back to premium. If you pay through the store using any other method, then it will renew automatically unless you cancel it.

You’ll also get an email reminder on several days prior to tell you it is going to expire.
