- If you insist on using that old turbine account, you have to get Standing Stones games CC to email you a product key code that you add to your old turbine account.
If you have played LOTRO in the past and have money invested in LOTRO on that old turbine account, then you need to contact SSG CC anyway to get it fixed.

- Valid passwords are between 8 and 15 characters and Must have at least 1 capital letter, at least 1 lower case letter, and at least 1 number, all within 15 characters. Don't use spaces or apostrophes, only use shifted number special characters !@#$%^&*()
As of today my connections to the update server/s are still blocked while a VPN is enabled - and I value my account too much to test it in-game. I certainly wouldn't recommend using a VPN with LOTRO, even for account creation, without a concrete statement from SSG.
There's a surprisingly active and dedicated community and the game continues to get new content and support on a regular basis.
