Rune keeper or hunter... your opinion, who is more interesting?

The hunter looks interesting. Many different non-combat abilities.
But Hunter seems too ordinary.
The RK is not understandable to me at all. What is good about it?
On the other hand, I prefer magic, so I look at the RK.

Give a couple of tips please.

Rune keeper can do DoT or HoT. It's very good at either (though not at the same time).
It takes a while before they're up to speed, and you need to keep chaining fights to stay charged.

A hunter is a hunter. Pew pew.
A hunter also has a lot of travel skills, so if you want to get around quickly, a hunter is the best (and it can play taxi for others as well)

You might also want to look at a minstrel. Although it's not magic you use, it plays like using magic ranged combat.

but a minstrel healer? He can not compare in damage to DPS classes?

These days each class has a DPS tree (red line). A minstrel can hold his own dealing damage.
Of course he won't out DPS a champion or hunter, and in groups you're better off as healer, as there's enough DPS anyway.

blueline hunter is a ton of fun to play if you like running around machine gunning everything to death

a minstrel can use most of his powers on the run. Hunters and Runekeeper have to stand still to use most powers.

Blue line for hunter allows for almost complete mobility with most powers, makes for quite a different feeling for the class.

i was using red line for a little while because I just came back to the game after several years, didn't really know much about the pathways. saw some people mention the blue line and after switching to it I have no desire to go back. Slayer deeds are so easy to do, I just run and gun anything in my vicinity.

i like the yellow line on RK myself, it allows a lot of fighting on the run, otherwise you are pretty much an anchor...which works well too but not so much my style..i like to be able to attack thjings as im running for the hills ;)
