There are toxic people everywhere but in general people are nice. May even get some freebies.

You'll get political or religious discussion's from time to time that take over, but on the whole more likely it'll be pun's based on the game; take tree's for example .... don't bark at me, are you leafing? etc....

Your questions might get over looked from time to time if lost in the mix, but generally someone will catch it and answer you.

And for those few toxic fellows (and yes we have them too), that's what the ignore button is for.

Viadric, I came here after playing WoW for eight years. I have a level 40 Warden now, and in some ways, this game is better. It has the things many longtime WoW players have asked for and never gotten: housing, flexible transmoging, way better lore, way better story line. Also, in almost 100 hours of play, I've not seen toxic behaviour of any sort. It's very refreshing.

I've played this game since Autumn 2010, and I can tell you that you will get toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from time to time, but definitely not on the scale of WoW. Welcome aboard !

LOL, no one has told me the obvious, I don't understand what I am doing.
But we all have fun doing it :-)
I play on arkenstone and have yet to run inot anyone like that.

I can-t complain about community, only downside is that there arent many new players so you end up having to ask help to a very experienced player to clear main quests/instances and not experiencing group exploration and that social mmo part of gameplay. hard to find ppl to just quest along with. but not impossible

The level curve is like 80% level cap or more yes. No source, just personal observation. But it's not impossible to find on-level people for some mid game instances.
