Controler support?

I cant bind keys to my 360 controler anymore after the patch.

I think you're better off asking this question on the official forum. There are not a lot of people that use a controller in LotRO here.

ceratinly Steam does not say this is a controller supported game......

No, it isn't. But there are tools to map half your keyboard to a controller, and that way you can play LotRO using a controller.

I suck at using a controller, so it's not something I would try.

You have never need a tool, it has mapped to my x360 controller for 11 years, no prob.
It even says, when you go to map a key, that the next key you hit on yout keyboard or gamepad, that will be the new key.

It's just broken since the last patch, I put in a ticket, in game and out, so maybe it will get fixed.

I've got a mouse with a numpad on its side :-)

I grew up using a joystick. I never got the hang of controllers.

I got my Steam controller out, and after some config i'm up and running again.
Still wish they would fix the xinput issue.

There was an update in the thread on the lotro forum. They're working on it, and it should be fixed in the near future.

The next update (22.3, released Wed. June 27th) will once again have XInput support:

XInput detection has been re-enabled and optimized, and XInput has also been added to the settings. To play with an XInput device (including, but not limited to Xbox 360 controllers), enabled XInput Detection in Options > Input.
