Avatar Update

Any way to actually disable the avatar updated faces? I know there is a checkbox but it doesnt do anything, I still enter the game with my face all effed up. I'm kinda bummed, I spent 4ever getting it just right, and now I can't view it.

I did a quick search for you, and according to a post in the lotro forum ( https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?656691-Never-mind-why-bother&highlight=avatar+upgrade ):

"You can still have the look of your original character, you need to make sure that the Update version box is unchecked not only on the login screen but uncheck it under Advanced Graphics, scroll all the way to the bottom and you'll see Avatar Update Visible, make sure that is unchecked."

I have to ask, I'm not smart enough to figure it out, but there must be a reason. Why have the check box on the title screen if it does nothing?

Not totally sure about all the how's and why's, but I heard if you uncheck your selection box - you see your character the old way and others will see you depending on what they have checked / unchecked.

Now I just checked and if you uncheck the Adv Graphic's box it disables the character selection one so you don't have to always be clicking on it.
