Turbine Points! Help!
I want to earn more Turbine Points. Does anyone have any recommended means for doing this? Also, I'm curious (This is a separate question) does the game just slow down after you've finished the initial stage of the game. I don't have any of the expansions, nor can I afford them. I worry I'll be old and fragile before I ever get to the first one :_(!

There are turbine points farming guides on youtube where you raise from level 1-20 I believe whilst completing deeds in Bree, Ered luin and Shire. The point is to also complete this shortest time possible like 3 hours. I'm not familiar with this, I only heard from other players.

There are guides on the Official Forums and on this page (in fact if you go to the 'ALL' tab theres one right on the top).

Your best way to get a handle on TP's is to open up your deed tab on your character and look at those; exploration, killing, etc... etc.... Using those as a guide especially the exploration one's will help you chart your path. The killing one's come pretty much on their own as you quest and travel.

At this point I wouldn't worry about the expansions as you'll need to buy regions prior to getting to the first expansion (Moria). Plan on alot of grinding points to buy those. Just by playing you'll get enough for the first region purchase after the free one's are done, but you'll have to work for the rest.

To max points you may want to create a character on ALL the servers and play those too as points are account wide so each deed done on a character will count towards the whole.

There's a guide here on Steam and I found it's better than the crap on youtube.

It takes grinding though if you absolutely spend no money at all. BUT.. it's 100% possible to do.

Just follow that guide, delete character.. make a new one.. follow the guide again.

NavFamG: Thanks! That's really helpful! I didn't know you could create a character on all servers. By the way, how do you do that lol?

Yeah, I saw that too. I don't know about deleting character after character though. I like the ones I've got :steamhappy:.

Go all the way back to the Login box and pick a different server after loging in. Then just do the whole character creation thing over. It's just like having a bunch of alts except there on different servers. Good point is the TP's you earn. Bad (in my opinion) is having to play the same content over and over and over again. Plus you can't mail stuff back and forth between them (no cross server mail).

Just do the whole character creation thing over and pick a different server (world) each time. It's just like having a bunch of alts except there on different servers. Darn. Though I guess I can take that chance. Thanks dude!

That guide is for farming LOTRO points, not for playing the game normally and earning the most points you can with a character. If you don't want to farm, you won't be playing this for free. You will hit a road block eventually.

You need to make a Minstrel each time to get it done quickly. Then delete that minstrel and make a new minstrel and do it again. You won't be exploring the world or socialising with this character, it's purely for getting the points, deleting and then recreating to get more points again.

Just pick a different server and use one of the slots on it to make this points farming character. This character means nothing to you.

Mmm. Okay. I'll do that. Thanks Darkrayne!
