Unable to purchase Lotro Points

As the title says, I'm unable to purchase points in the store. I'm not sure if this is a recent issue (as in the past 5 or so days) or random bug with the store, I was able to purchase points just a few days ago but when I logged on today I am unable to. Every time I try to buy some I just receive this - "2002: this payment method is unavailable at this time, please try another method or try again later". I've purchased points using my steam wallet before so I know thats not the issue. I'm not sure if this is an already known issue, or if its maybe due to the transition from Turbine, but if there is one I haven't been able to find it on the Lotro forums or here in the discussions. So I guess if anyone is having similiar problems with it or happens to know a fix, thanks in advance.

I doubt it, otherwise I couldn't see the game remaining on Steam. My bet is that its related to the transition from Turbine to SSG. At least, thats the only logical reason as I've never had an issue purchasing points, in the past. My only guess is that due to the change there may be some issues in processing payments through steam, it may be that the devs have halted payments until they have everything squared away. Nonetheless, I'm hoping that it gets fixed soon.

Very odd, does anybody find it odd you cant buy DLCs through steam aswell? Or has it been like that for awhile and for a good reason?

Yes, they are definetely purchasable, and you will receive codes you can activate in LotRO Store.

The same problem, until 1 January all was well now writes tighter error, and also does not go to the steam, does not appear in the data entry window shop, but the error 2002.

Таже ошибка, до 1 января все работало, сейчас не дает через лавку в стим зайти, и пишет только ошибку и сумму справа, походу им не нужны наши деньги, а на сайте брать не выгодно 2 месяца 30$, когда в игре за 30$ 3 месяца, плюс еще VAT. Не знаю что, за баг до этого все работало. (живу не в Украине)

Если пытаетесь оплатить с кошелька Steam - может не выйти. Попробуйте другой способ, и не забудьте написать в техподдержку. Больше запросов - больше шансов, что проблеме уделят время.

Уважаемая землеройка, проблема в том что это трудно назвать оплатой с кошелька, так как не выскакивает окно с логином в стим через лаавку, а почему-то сразу выводится сумма и ошибка слевой стороны, плюс другой способ тоже не работает, сразу через лавку выскакивает на это окно. А платить через сайт не выгодно. Писать в поддержку тратить силы не очень хотеся, во-первых это им нужны наши деньги, и во-вторых самое главное до 1 января все работало, сколько уже можно всяких багов и поломок даже на уровне оплаты, они что не могут хотя бы это отладить за столько лет и ломают то, что уже до этого работало....Складывается ощущение, что может даже это специально сделано как-будто, так как на сайте не выгодные 2 месяца за 30$, а в лавке 3 месяца за теже деньги, но как смотрю по сообщениям стима, проблема у многих и у Англоязычных тоже. В крайнем случае конечно пока подожду и через пару неделек, если не починят напишу, но уже достали они, честно слово.... Жаль не было денег до 1 января, знал бы оплатил бы.

Devs very rarely show themselves here (although Cordovan promised to update Steam pages and so on, but when - nobody knows). Better try to find them somewhere there[www.lotro.com].
