back when i first installed this I had to endure a heinously long download time from their ftp site or something, prior to the inclusion within steam... then I rebuilt my computer and tried to use the old folder and nope, it wanted to re-install.
I kept the old install files after that, and... now none of it works.
I just moved the game from one drive I have to make space onto another drive I have that had more space, and steam decides to discover the folder and then erase everything, so its downloading 18 gig of data right now, because it opted to blow away the data in moved game folder. why oh why did I not make a copy of it.. oh yeah because I moved it to clear up space and why would steam choose to erase it instead of discover it like every other game?
ugh
Oh okay, I did that but nothing downloaded for some reason?
Thanks for your reply, as well as the replies from others. I appreciate it.
