This game seriously sucks.

Is it really that hard to include a manual anymore? Took two laps just to figure out how to go forward. Good thing it was on sale, or I'd feel really ripped off.

just because you didn't instantly knew the button to go forward?

Yup. Theres no manual, and no tutorial. Hell, can't even see the control key-mapping in settings. And I still can't find any documentation. So now I can go forward... and that's it. Can't drift or use powerups. This is a console title that didn't translate well.

space button plus shift button to drift,e or ctrl for items,w,a,s,d for stunts in the air and q to look back

Yikes, that seems a bit cumbersome. WIsh there was a way to change the key-mapping.

Agreed. I was trying to use a wireless controller app on Android with this. AndroG works... to an extent. Do you have any recommendations. I'd prefer to use an app rather than have to get a new piece of dedicated hardware for steam.

There's a manual, right click the game in your library then click View game manual.

This game is definitely playable with a keyboard. It's best experienced with a controller though as previously mentioned.

I don't see a touch device emulating a controller working very well either due to lack of tactility.

I think your first issue, is, without doubt, the fact you're using a phone app as a controller. That's just not going to fly. That sounds even worse then using the keyboard in my opinion.

As expensive as it's likely to be, a controller is your best bet.

Steam should prompt you with the configuration mode on first run, just as it did for me.

Press Forward and shift. Like any other PC DRIVING GAME.

This might be a silly question... but how did you do 2 laps without going forward?

Probably counted how many times he was passed by the other racers.
