Auto-accelerate

Why is there no such option? I realized that I am basically on full acceleration in the regular race events. Sometimes I lift off gas in traffic and rings events, but otherwise I'm on full throttle.

There should be such an option...

braking/slowing down in front of people is acutally sometimes a good tatic to push people off places i normally sometimes do it if im in first to push off 2nd place this way other wise yea i hardly never let go of my accelerate unless its lucky dip

In that case, you can always hold on brake. That slows your car down.

I'd not like it due to different handling dynamics when pedal is off, compared to it being on.. Also analogue input helps around certain corners to make slight adjustments to turning circle to avoid stuff...

Essentially this would just flip that around, and I think that'd feel pretty unnatural.

this and i was just giving a pro tip works well on parade you can as eram how many times i made him fall off by braking there lolz

Tool SonicRedefineButtons contains this feature ("Accelerate:Always"), but it supports gamepad only (not keyboard). With my joystick and two gamepads it works fine.
