A quick question on twister.
Is it really possible to drift dodge these, or are blocking them the only way to avoid them?

You can evade/boost escape them like drones, but timing it is insanely difficult. You have 16.7ms to dodge if its on a straight, or twice that (sometimes) if cornering heavily.

Twisters take very wide turns, so if you hug a wall during a turn it's possible to trick the Twister into hitting a wall. It's also possible to get immediately in front of another racer and make the Twister hit them instead.

You're probably better off learning how to cope with a twister hit, particularly during drifting. Takes a bit of practice but entirely doable :)

Thanks for the advice both of you. I thought these were unavoidable other than blocking them with items. :)

I still got problems to avoid drones... they seem to get to me all the time while my own drones are usualy quickly avoided by other racers

What other users have said, also you can just drive against to wall and it'll hit the wall.

On a related note, there is one other thing I have to bring up, and this is something even I have to remember at times: whenever you do get hit with a twister, there's the animation that's in the process of getting your car to face the other direction. You don't have to reverse left and right until your car stops shaking and starts facing the opposite direction. Remember this much, along with the above tips (even though I get 1-6 frames of dodge time for twisters myself), and you can pretty much render twisters useless.

Also, I assume you know that transform rings flip you back to normal when you're already twistered?
