World unlock mod suprise

I was actually quite suprised when unlocking the dreamcast console mod, that Shadow was there isntead of Amigo. Amigo made his first apperence on that system and I was rather well a tad disapointed to see he was not on that console modification, and the fact that Shadow is a more recent character than he is, it makes little sense. I know this game when for accuracy through almost every aspect, but for me this tiny detail did make me a little sad.

anyone else feel a pang when a character was put into a console mod that didn't feel right?

thankyou guys for clearing it up for me By the way, i was not aware of smaba de amigo in the arcades, and since i have yet to get a copy of SA2 for DC at a decent price on a PAl region, knowing this info i was not aware of makes this question invald. thankyou all for your help :D

actully soinc is under the megadrive mod, the named the mods after the sega consoles, and in away the characters that get that mod actully made apperences on those platforms (i'm kinda showing my sega nerdisum here :P)

Shadow was on Adventure 2 on Dreamcast. Mega Drive is just a Genesis it was called Mega Drive in europe but Alex Kidd is on it anyway even though he was on Master System.

Samba's console mod being the arcade mod is not a mistake at all, going by Wikipedia[en.wikipedia.org]:

Samba de Amigo is a rhythm game originally developed by Sonic Team and released in 1999 by Sega in arcades, 2000 for the Dreamcast video game console

ah that would make more sense then (i never knew he actully had an arcade appenrence!) so thankyou for clearing that up for me guys :D much apprechated.

that and i still ahvn't ever been able to get a good wroking copy for my PAL dreamcast for SA2 (living in australia means the DC games or good repute can be hard to come by - skies of arcadia alone cost me $200 and my small JSR collection is worth about $400)
