Game hacking?
Ok, it is getting abit anoying to play online sometimes.
Keep seeing players that dont slow down with damage/ infinite weaponry /all star speed randomly (whitout beeing all star)

Sorry folks but, yeah. it does become anoying to see the same players finishing in 1º with like...30 second of advance from everyone else?

Anyone else experienced this? oh yes there is also some "coincidence" that makes your game freeze or conection log of whenever you are on first place lol.

Save us sega :O we wanna play fair!

Slow down: You can retain your speed if you get hit and boost right afterwards, but only through a boost pad I believe. Someone correct me on that as i'm not so certain.

Infinite weaponry: I've never seen this myself. Closest thing I can think of is the super pickups that give you more ammo for certain items.

All Star speed: Do you notice this in while flying, or on the ground? If flying, some all-star buffs linger when it's finished while flying.
Oh hi Xenn, actually that did heapen right in our games, some person was completelly ignoring any weapon damage taken and shouting about 10 rockets at once. super pick ups arent that big are they?

About the all star speed, they werent even boosting or transforming or using anything... just all of suden...vrruum! i searched online about this too and unfortnally found out there ARE actually trainers that make this situacions possible :( !
IceBlade 27. Apr. 2013 um 23:24
There are trainers which make this possible, however since the most recent live update this game utilises VAC. You can still cheat, but you will get banned. VAC will pick up the trainers that exist at the moment.

It's important to distinguish between foul play and just lag - this community's base is small, thus most games are played internationally. Collisions between high ping players tend to be sporadic, and sometimes responsible for these crazy boosts that some players get. Of course, it can also spin you the other way around just as easily.

Do note that there are some *very* good players online - though not quite up to the par of some of the top PS3 players - and they will sometimes finish with large margins, particularly on levels with lots of little tricks like Adder's Lair, Graffiti City, or Graveyard Gig.

Well then WE hope they are banned then! This game is too fun to be ruined by this kind of stuff.

But i can assure this was something abnormal and hopefully it wont least long.

Oh yes, the spin one was totally awkward but heapened a few times. @_@
thanks for the info Guys. Seya in game.

I didn't notice anyone cheating/hacking. I will say that that lobby had some seriously high level players, probably one of, if not the highest skill level lobby I've played in. I did see 1 or 2 players who were lagging. And there were some glitches/game crahes/network errors/temp freezes as well as other glitches;one samba race I got pushed and got a super speed, which pushed me from 3rd to 1st. The game collisions are odd. Can send you flying back, or stop, or flying ahead. I have still yet to see anyone use infinite weapons;lucky and glad I suppose. Don't be discouraged. From what I remember you were doing pretty well, considering the players in that room. Hope you have more fun in the future.

yes I have expierienced this all to frequently people finishing the race with 30 seconds to spare and also my weapons do no damage to them and they can blow right through bariers it makes me down right peed off i paid my money for people to cheat ...Thats why its harder and harder to find matches online because of hackers!!!!!!!!!!!

Travdagg, I bet you could go a lot faster with a bit of practice. 4 hours total playtime really isnt enough to learn all the tracks and how to use that track knowledge to go fast. You can also evade a lot of weapons if you have a counter or if you can boost evade. I've only ever encountered a few cheaters in over 250 hours of online play. Hopefully VAC gets updated soon and the 1st wave of cheaters are banned. :)

Some maps are greatly determined by skill. It's not uncommon to see some people DNF the entire lobby on Dream Valley for example.
Thank you Soul.
It´s not always about winning at least for me, just playing it is fun enough :P!

Travdagg It gets beter.Try playing in world tour the Dash chalenges. trust me its not as hard as they look, once you get the handle of those boosts your speed gameplay doubles or triples.
It is wild in online gameplay but it makes it much more fun than then AI against player, Results can be anything :)))!

Still ill go easy on ya if we meet in game. Untill you master those.

I have seen a few cheaters. The one guy kept targeting my higher ranked friends. They always ignored me. They didn’t care about getting 1st it seemed... all they wanted to do is make the high rank players loose points.

Also, if someone is lagging, omg stay away from them. I never knew Amigo could go faster in reverse! One time we got lag physics smacked out the gate to the finish on Monkey Balls, and we flew over the transform gate and got stuck in boat mode forever... AGES and Beat slipping and sliding around lol

When I was learning I asked friends WTF HOW YOU GO SO FAAAST. I didn’t know boost levels went past 3! They go up to 5 *(I think or 6?... red, purple, blue, orange, light blue, SUPER ORANGE?)! You have to do 3 different stunts to achieve the glorious ORRRRAAANGEEE FIOOORRRR as I like to call out. Normal boosts stack this way too. Like on Carrier Zone, there are the 3 boost pads on the second carrier. As you drift into them, you may have a level 2 boost. Release the boost and go over those boost pads to go up to level 5. That tip helped me so much!

SoraBlue I remember you from yesterday's lobby, you were the Aiai player (where we all died on Graveyard Gig freezing on us).

Let's just say yesterday was a REALLY high level room and we did play tracks like Adder's Lair, Temple Trouble, Graffity City, Carrier Zone, Seasonal Shrines..

All of these were tracks where when a player knows what he's doing and is in first place it's easy to pull away.

I didn't notice any of us cheating in that very lobby, even though it is a possiblity, but these people are most likely getting banned, at least I hope so as I have no idea how VAC actually works
Tetrix 29. Apr. 2013 um 16:24
I was in that game too I dont recall a specific person winning over and over again, nor anyone cheating for that matter ;o
(we all died part was funny heh)

Flamiex, you couldnt possibily see since you where one of the best players there strungling on second or third place most of the time .

This incident heapened way back in betwen the last places. The Weapon one i meant.
