Why am I going so slow?

I feel like I'm slower than everyone else in the game and it doesnt let me finish a single race.

How are your framerates in-game? It's important to know that they must NOT drop too low under 30 fps, otherwise your game will not be in sync with the AI racers.

That or you probably need to skill up. :P

My game is pretty smooth.. I read in forums and Iowered down my settings too but it didn't change a thing :/

Hello,

Can you try this out:

(assuming Windows 7)

Click on Start, type cmd, right click it on the menu and click Run as Administrator

Type in the following:
bcdedit /set useplatformclock true and press Enter.

Restart the computer.

Let me know how it goes!

What frame rates are you having? can you use fraps to check it out? You need to be above 20FPS or you won't run the game at real time speed. Try to also go to Control Panel » Power Options and select "High Performance" and try to play!

I'm having a fixed 60 fps.. you think it is a skill issue? :D

It could be an actual skill issue. You need to drift a lot in this game, to obtain boosts! See the other sticky in this forum with the few "premium guides" it has ti help you get up to speed!

Alternatively, please make a video of you doing one track, so we can see of you are properly or not running in real time in online-play (record you playing online).
