getting an error code

so just got this game a few days ago but it will not load at all just says error game is already running what do i do

Try restarting the game or restarting your PC. It should work then, but if not go directly to the game's executable and launch if from there. And feel free to add me if you're looking for someone to play with. I typically play around midnight (US) every night.

Code is giving me now after a reset is error occurred game already running code 16892

I have the same error, just wanted to play the game after many years and can't play it, my friend have the same problem I have a modern amd gpu and a 4070

I've been having the same issues, I'm assuming its an issue with the port itself, but hoping to see updates to make it playable

tried installed it on an hard drive and still doesnt work, same "game already running" error

Oh ì also put it on my pc storge says the same so idk must be a bug

ive got the same issue, idk ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about pc requierments and stuff, tried all the things like verifying the files and installing/reinstaling the game, didnt show up on task manager, im really glad to know this isnt a stupid me problem and other people have the same issue.
i can launch the launcher.exe which is cool i guess but not the game itself.

i just remembered, when trying to launch the game it'll say "running install script ()" but then for other games like sega genesis/mega drive classics, theres normally things written between the brackets like microsoft directx or something. that could be related to the issue.

yo lo he conseguido, yendo a la carpeta de instalacion y cambiando compatibilidad a windows 7, y despues en launcher ♥♥♥♥, modo ventana/pantalla completa :)

Try this: Go to steam/steamapps/common/sonic&all-stars racing transformed. Use the Windows 7 Compatibility Mode for Launcher.exe as well as ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe.

Then launch Launcher.exe. Change or confirm the resolution. Even if you want to use the default resolution you´ll need to confirm it. Change everything else to your liking in the settings, close it, then run the ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe

That´s why you should use the Windows 7 Compatibiltiy Mode. To do so use right-click on both Launcher.exe and ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe. Open properties, go to the compatibility tap, then check the box for: run this program in compatibility mode and use the drop-down menu to choose windows 7. Apply the settings and then run the launcher.exe

I just tried this fix and it didnt work. idk if this is the case for bob. At this point I'm thinking of just getting a refund because this is ridiculous. The error code isn't even consistent.
