Configure screen is a white box?

I bought this game today and It is ludicrously laggy on my computer, so I went to configure it in the settings. All that appears is a white box and a glove. I can select options that aren't there but it is impossible to work through the menus.

I've looked through every corner of the internet for a fix here and I can't find it.

I run Windows 8.1, have a x64 bit machine, and 4gb of ram. Ideas?

what is your PC spec ?
maybe the game running on intel GPU , sometime it does that , you need to force Geforce GFX to run it

That's absolutely weird. Are you using a laptop or desktop? I'd check out the troublehooting thread that is pin here.



And no, you don't need any Geforce GFX bias to run the game at all. It works fine on AMD, Intel Graphics, etc.

I'm using a laptop! Unfortunately I cannot find anything at all on that thread that helps. Here are my specs in more detail:

Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 877 @ 1.40GHz
Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics
Memory 4.0 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8.1 (build 9600), 64-bit

Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like you don't have the requirements to run this game. Could be wrong. :P

aha, thats why

you should set the resolution to 720P
and graphics to low

the problem you are saying you can't see the config box , that strange
maybe you should verify the game again ?

I'm certain if I turn the resolution and graphic quality down the game will run fine! It's just that I can't do that with the weird broken config. I checked in that thread and running it as an administrator didn't help. I already have .NET 4 so that isn't the problem.

I've emailed and called SEGA to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Try editing the settings.xml file manually if it's there.

It's in the "..My Documents\SART" Folder

Excellent, its there! Could someone maybe set their graphics down to the lowest resolution and model/texture quality and post a copy of their XML?

Hi, could you or anyone paste your settings.xml here?

Like the original poster, I'm on windows 10 and installing dot net 4.8 + running compatibility as win7 and admin won't work.
still white screen..
