XBox One Controller Problems

I'm having trouble getting the game to run with my wired One controller. Other games i own, even ones older than this, run just fine with it, but it doesn't seem to want to comply. I've tried redifing the controls but it seems the program doesn't recognize it for whatever reason. Help please!

I have the same problem with the xbox one controller (wireless). All Steam games run well besides sonic.

You need to download the Xbox accessories app from the Windows store. I had the same problem

So I downloaded the app and it says that it can only configure XB One Elite controllers. I don't know what else to do.

It's also worth noting that you'll want to set the deadzones (in XBOX Accessories App) of your triggers to bottom-out at 75 otherwise you'll be traveling at a snails pace....

i tried all the suggestions i could find be it download programmes or delete files, whatever, none of these worked for me. so instead i found if i leave my xbox 360 wired pad plugged in to my pc and my xbox one pad on at launch of game that some how this managed to get my xbox one pad the be recognised. as soon as game has loaded i can unplug my wired 360 pad and my xbox one pad would still be working. random as hell but least its working

All I had to download an XB1 controller drive, then apply it to the settings in the configuration before starting up the game.
