Cant get past the intro video

Hey guys...so i bought this game last year on a sale....finally decided to install it and play with my boy since hes old enough now to play games..SO i got it all installed and when i try starting the game if i press any buttons during the intro video the game locks up and i can hear everything and the guy telling me to select a mode etc... and i can hear the music playing but the screen is frozen! .....also if i let the intro video play out it goes to a black screen after wards, same thing i can hear th emusic etc... but cant get the game to show me the menu to start up a game ...My pc is more than capable of running this i have a 1080ti ...any suggestions or fixes for this? I have not been able to play this game 1 single time yet and its way past due for a refund so im lost at what to do to bea ble to play ...thanks in advance

Hello, did you check your screen resolution? as far as I know, the game runs fine up to 1920x1080 and judging by your screenshots, seems you have set an higher one. beyond 1080p I think some tweaks are needed, but I don't know them atm, maybe some other user can shed some light to that : )

Thanks for the reply! ....The problem is i cant even get into the menu to change those options?!?...i do play on a ultra wide 1440p ....but again I havnt even been able to get into the game to select what rez i want to run the game at!?

I understand, please try this, usually works. Go to:
(Your Disk):\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Then execute the file called "Launcher.exe" and see if it appears, and you can change the graphic settings there.

Love how games don't work years later. Retarded. I get the movie playing I hit a button but the movie freezes but the game is till going behind the frozen screen. Dumbest ♥♥♥♥

sounds less like an issue with the game and more with your pc

Hello, i have the same problem and i try to do this, but an error appears, "the memory in 0x00..... can´t be written.

I had the same problem. For me I had to change from "Full screen" to "Windowed/Full Screen" in the configuator. The launcher would not load from the command line but did from the Steam option.

Working in 4k fine now

Actually I completely restored my rig to prove a point. i7 3770K OC'd 4.5 ghz. 32 gigs ddr3 ram, ASUS Strix ROG 1060 6 gig. I eat any game alive at high - ultra settings. Always gotta be some workaround to get things working.
