Configuration Does NOT Save (Solved)
Boy, am I basking into the "how did that happen?" aura right about now.
For whatever reason, my "SART" folder in My Documents became hidden somehow, and that's why my config was not saving. Being an average Windows user, I didn't think to check that it may possibly be a factor. Certainly an easy solution to an otherwise baffling problem. If anyone else happens to run into this bug... well, there you go.

Hi everyone, good to see you. I've put many hours into SASRT and the game was working fine the last time I played it earlier this year. I recently updated to a widescreen monitor, and tried changing the resolution with the configure tool for my preferred viewing tastes. Seems like no matter what I do, every time I close and re-open the configure tool after making changes, it just resets to default. I've done a ton of things and at this point I'm losing patience.

Updated graphics card
Verified local files integrity
Tried configuring the game from inside the local files rather than steam.
Files are not read-only
Made sure to launch the config tool as administrator
Launcher tool is being run in compatibility mode
Did a complete reinstall

Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce 650 Ti BOOST
PC: Win 7 Professional Service Pack 1
AMD 6300 six-core processor 3.50 Ghz
8 gig ram, 64 bit OS
Monitor: Acer H236HL bid 23-Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor
refresh rate 60 ghz

Tl;dr configuration tool doesn't give a crap what I want and resets to default. Many hours of troubleshooting ensue. Desperately searching for a solution.

*Go to your Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed folder
(default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed).
*When you're there, right click on Launcher.exe, click Properties.
*Click on Compatibility tab, and then select "Run this program in compatbility mode for:" and select Windows 7 from the drop down box.
*Then click "Run this program as an administrator".

^ Credit to IceBlade for the above, if it works, I just copy pasted his info :tgrin:.

A good troubleshooting guide here.
