Active Discord for tryharding/time-attack/speedrunning/MM

We try to be a helpful community of people who just wanna go fast. Many of us have been reinvigorated by a centralized community of collaboration, support, and feedback.

We are currently led by a council of 6 players who can be found at the top of the leaderboards and/or tournament results.

We started this is in May and have grown from an average of 20 messages per day to 500+

We are the hub for the community-made Top 20 leaderboards for Time Attack and Grand Prix, intended to filter out the hackers found on the in-game leaderboards. It will continue to be expanded upon.

We are also a hub for the upcoming Team Sonic Racing as well as the old Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.

Why discord? It gives us robust control over different channel topics, user customization, voice chat, and the means to enforce rules against insults, harassment, and toxicity; discord has become a universal standard across game communities.

Let me just add, that if anyone is interested in Team Sonic Racing, the discord server will be a great place to meet other players and to team up. It is also an easy way to voice chat.

I would definitely recommend to give the Discord server, Gotta Go Fast, a go. The server is open to any kind of question regarding Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, starting from tips for newcomers to discussions about some of the most advanced tricks one could learn which are not explicitly told by the game. One could also gather other players on the server to play Matchmaking or Custom Lobby at a scheduled time, given that it is quite hard to find players in Matchmaking sometimes due to time differences. Incredible and weird needing alts to promote a discord server.
If the fun is really the purpose I would like to ask why talking behind others' back and allowing members to freely insult and mute the ones who asked to stop that?. That's a bit contradictory.

It's a server started for Time Attack, but has branched to allow people to get together just to play the game with others. When Team Sonic Racing comes out, it'll be the place for that too. Everyone can feel free to join.

The title includes MM so I was talking about MM, of all who spoke so far, only 3 players are active in MM, the rest are always hiding, like having panic to play MM lol. TSR will have TEAM play, word that also seems to cause panic in this community. Hopefully you all won't start drama 'cause the items again xD.
And good, Giant, good. Usually the ones who commits fault plays the victim role. Don't worry, the truth prevails : )
