With all that said, we really need to stop giving the game awards etc any attention.
However, I am confused that there is a DLC nominated. As well as Balatro that well just looks like a card game.
I agree about Erdtree but FF7 Rebirth absolutely deserves a spot. Balatro though...
The game not being nominated doesn’t mean its a terrible game.
The combat is horrible, Unfortunately Konami did very little to innovate instead they kept the same boring outdated combat that is clunky and unfun, overall its a chore having to take down every enemy with a whole mag on their legs.
The animations isn't good either they are very cartoonish, I just don't get why they couldn't do motion capture on those animations so Its easier to see when they start to attack, right now there's constant frame skipping, invisible walls in different segments you can't shoot through holes or paths that you crawl or climb through which is lazy.
