DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation announced!
Thank goodness the developers from Blooberg/Konami are working closely with NVIDIA to implement DLSS 4 to further increase more fps boost via multi-frame generation, although it's exclusive to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series graphics card.

yay, more fake laggy frames

But it will not solve the stuttering, even if the fps number will be more.
RTX 40 cards are still getting DLSS 4 though, alas without multi-frame generation. But it should decrease memory usage, boost fps and quality.

How could it fix anything?
kgfzrt Jan 7 @ 3:31am
That doesn't fix stuttering or the other technical issues this port has, but it does mean they haven't abandoned it, either, so I guess I hope this will come bundled with other improvements
Ah yes, another incremental technology update locked behind the new 5000 series. I haven't upgraded in years because of this. However, this does look to be a nice improvement to DLSS as a whole. Multi-Frame generation sounds sketchy. How can there not be insane input lag? I guess we'll see. Maybe Frame-Gen will finally be doing itself justice.
5090 looks to be a joke for the price. Not much faster than the 4090 without multi-frame gen.
So many drones are absolutely eating this junk up instead of advocating for game developers actually optimizing their stuttery, sluggish, blurry trash games. No one with half a brain wants this.

Yeah, it's definitely more of a priority than actually optimizing the game
I just finally upgraded from the 2xxx series to the 4xxx series. I skipped the 3xxx series because my personal upgrade requirement is 200W or less TDP with 50+% greater raster performance over the same model from the previous gen. The 3070 didn't give me that over the 2070. The 4070 did.

I'll refrain from upgrading again until a GPU exists that offers 50+% raster performance uplift over a 4070, at 200W or less TDP under full load, with 12GB or more VRAM. Somehow I suspect that won't happen until the 6xxx series, but we'll see.
got stutters because you are clueless lol
there's no GPU that comfort you and your rotten mind :steammocking:

Who says Bloober is working with nvidia on this? Source?

Precisely

Who even uses it when you're playing in 6k on a 32gb vram card? lolol

You don't get it, do you? It became almost mandatory to use this ♥♥♥♥ nowadays even on high end cards.
