Is there a way to remove the ghosting effect when things move?
It's the only thing I can't get rid of on my medium to low settings that are now much better after messing around with the settings.

Basically, as things move they leave a muddy trace behind that slowly goes away. If anyone knows a way to fix it, let us know.

Shame that Steam discussions are more focused on complaining about stupid stuff like whether something has hot women or not.

Hopefully someone comes up with a fix.
Was just asking about this. So is the temporal ghosting I've seen in footage due to TAA? And if so, can it be disabled? If so that's good. Ghosting drives me mad in games lol. Was also wondering, does the game include an option for Reflex for nVidia users? I've found that reduces ghosting in games. If so, does it reduce it for you?

TAA can be disabled, yes.

just read the actual settings, there is FXAA if you don't want TAA

Nice. Thanks for confirming. So it's just TAA ghosting, not some other form of temporal frame data issue or the like?

Also... this is kind of a weird question and I don't know if people will know what I mean but... are there a lot of occlusion artifacts in SSR? I.e. when moving laterally, do solid edges leave momentary artifacts in SSR as they update? (In puddles, etc.) Or is that pretty minimal? That's another thing that always bugs me in games lol. Nowhere near as much as outright ghosting, though.

I turned off TAA and it still has it

The ghosting is caused by TAA, DLSS, and FSR. TSR doesn't actually cause it though (but the image quality is quite a bit worse than DLSS).

I just checked to see if the SSR occlusion issues are present like a lot of Unreal games exhibit and it's there but not nearly as bad as in a lot of other Unreal games.

Good to know, thank-you. Sounds tolerable but also similarly irksome to a lot of other recent games lol. But I end up just enjoying once I play anyway so... hopefully my particularly ghosting-averse brain can just unsee it as I usually have to. I'll probably be so immersed and scared witness I won't care anyway. :P

Does Reflex improve it at all? Is there a Reflex option for nVidia? Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Is there a way to disable the ghosting then? Sorry, I'm not very tech-savvy.

Try putting the image sharpening on off, it helped me.

It might be a thing to be changed on HxD or something maybe, because I'm not seeing any changes messing around in the settings menu so far.

Found a possible fix for ghosting!

EDIT: The solution worked to make it less noticeable but the ghosting is still there.

Disabling TXAA and not using DLSS/FSR gets rid of it for me entirely.
