Early release not working?

I bought the deluxe edition to play it early. However, in my library, it still tells me the release date is October 7. Is anyone else having this issue with not being able to download?

That's normal from what i've heard. You should still be able to access it at the right time.

Steam will always show the official launch date as the unlock date even if you purchased early access for a game. (And what that date is will differ by your time zone, hence some people seeing the 8th, and you seeing the 7th.) Games with early access will still unlock when they're supposed to.

I suspect it will be either 9pm pst tonight or midnight. That would be within 24 hours to early access.Hopefully PC doesn't get the shaft on the preload.

Steam Store page shows that for the Deluxe edition it comes out in one day and 5 hours, does that not hold true?

Yes that's still accurate. That countdown (the golden one for that edition) is independent on the store page from the standard edition's countdown. But your Steam library (not the store page) will show the date for the standard edition instead of the early access date. It will still unlock when it's supposed to. This is just how Steam is.

That makes sense, I was moreso specifically referring to what MapleOmega said, where they mentioned it'd be coming out tonight at midnight PST.

Happened to me. Logging out from Steam and and logging back in did the trick.

I just had to close the steam app and open it again (close as in right click "close steam"). And that was despite the fact I had literally just booted up my pc and steam along with it lol
