Invisible Cursor in Full Screen Mode
I had this problem and all the posts I found said disable mouse trailers and other mouse effects to fix it.

That may be one cause of this problem, but I also had to set the OS font size to 100% (default) instead of large fonts to get it to work for me.

Hey there, thank you, we will look into that matter!
ST_Team  [developer] Sep 26, 2013 @ 11:54pm
Can you be more specific on the changes you have done to your system that you were unable to see the cursor?
Silvermane Sep 27, 2013 @ 12:41am
To change the OS font size in Windows 7:

Right click on the desktop.
Choose Personalize.
Select Display in the bottom left corner.
There are three choices:

1. Smaller - 100% (default)
2. Medium - 125%
3. Larger - 150%

I have a Dell 30 inch monitor at 2560 x 1600 so I normally use Larger. This causes the cursor to be invisible when I play Star Conflict in full screen mode. Changing the font size back to 100% fixed it.

This is the post in Tom's Hardware that gave me the solution to the problem:

Let me know if you need more info.

We were unable to reproduce the problem with various settings to font sizes.
Can you tell us what mouse trailers and software did you use?
Silvermane Oct 1, 2013 @ 7:00am
The most unusual thing about my setup is 2560x1600 resolution with NVidia GTX 770 in SLI. I use Logitech Setpoint software with no mouse trailers.

I know, this thread is quite old, but apparently the bug it concerns hasn't been fixed, yet. I can reproduce the error exactly as described by Silvermane.
My pc is connected to a 42" tv, so I need a bigger font size in Windows 7 (150%) due to sitting about 2-3 meters away from the screen. When running Star Conflict in full screen mode then, the mouse cursor graphic is frozen, although I can move the "invisible" mouse and guess its position by the hovered/highlighted items it is on.
Furthermore, the game window is always bigger than the actual screen size, cutting off the top and bottom, which is distrubing, because I cannot see my equipped weapons/modules, for example.
And finally, I cannot select the FullHD native screen resolution of my tv set (1980x1080?) in the game. It's always reset to 1700-something pixels.

However, reducing the Windows 7 font size to at least 125% fixes all three - the frozen/invisible mouse and the "overscan" screen size and the unavailable resolution settings.

I just downloaded this to check it out, got through the tutorial, played my second match, mouse cursor is unhinged. The cursor is frozen on the screen, but I can still move the invisible clicker.

Kinda sad the game is already unplayable 10 minutes in...

This is still an issue that is being experienced. Fullscreen mode at higher resolutions makes the mouse stuck in a lower left side location and unable to see. Trying to find out how i can change the settings to windowed from outside of the game as i cannot find the mouse pointer while it's invisible.
Dawnesya Jan 29, 2016 @ 4:11am
Wow you have the same issue lol. Mouse graphic stuck in lower screen area, invisible mouse still works. Can select windowed mode by moving the mouse around until button lights up or use a reference point like top left of screen and work from there. Still sucks though as fullscreen stretch mode still lets the cursor go invisible after a while...

***UPDATE: I think I may have fixed it, right click on desktop and select "Display Settings" (or personalise --> display) then go into advanced settings --> advanced sizing of text and other items --> click on the custom text size link. Change it to 1% away from whatever it was set on eg. 149%. Apply and log out/in of PC. This should fix the invisible mouse cursor in fullscreen and should also fix the extra large cursor in the stretched window mode ;p

Note my problem occurred on Windows 10 but it seems people have it in Windows 7 too. Other things to try are making your mouse pointer scheme to (none) and turning on/off pointer trails, shadow. None of those worked for me it was the text scaling option.

I was able to fix this but it was completely stupid and moreso a workaround. I had manually switched it into windowed mode through a file in the mygames folder in documents. For some reason it doesnt want to work in fullscreen still.
Dawnesya Feb 1, 2016 @ 7:53am
Yes that is one way but did you try the text size trick? Note you have to use the custom option as the 100/125/150% options don't make it work. Remember to restart

I did find that in full screen stretch I got a bigger cursor and then it still disappears after a while but the text size fix has been flawless so far ;p

(I have AMD GPUs and Windows 10 whereas my win7 nvidia PC never had an issue...)

This guys fix worked for me with windows 10. I had been playing for a hot minute and logged in one day to deal with this. Just played other games till I came across this problem in world of warships! Fixed both with the same thing.
