All other destroyers have the disadvantage that shields load slowly, and for repairs you need the drones in the missiles slot to get enough healing for the hull.
Since a passive repair module in a hull slot, as with other ships, does not help much with the high HP of a destroyer.

i also can recommend [antares] or fed's destroyers because they can have triple missile slot when others only can have double = triple healing drone or shield .

Still for PvE Tyrant seems to be best one as for shield defence one, still at high mision levels (60+) you would rather use ships as Recon / Gunship / Engineer (Hammerhead) or even Executor LRF as its dps seems pritty good with fine chips and pve attack level.

-Special module grants 5k shield and can act as anti fighter/interceptor weapon (hitscan lock on weapon) on hit
-Isotop harvester, when used right fully restore your shields
-Special main weapon is a crit monster as it can reach up to 100% crit chance and is very easy to keep it up but is has half the rate of fire of the regular coil guns
