Seed Chips stats doesn't work
Well, most of this stats actually doesn't work on ships, nor even have any showed stats that's changed somewhere.

For example: Weapon range doesn't work with any chip, I have two chips installed on my ship with 36% and my range without chips is 4140, with that percentage it should be ~5634.
So in any missions and open space my ship detecting opponents in range of 4140 with seed chips which should help me to detect them on range of 5634.

What's wrong with this chips, does they even work properly or not?

Fire rate doesn't work, shield resistance, increasing shield cap etc.:steamfacepalm:

Chips works but it doesn't show any change in stats.

Weapon range is not the same as radar range, you can see enemy ships 4140m forward but you can hit them at a distanse of ~6km. You need to increase radar range to see what is the range of your weapon.

I've never used seed chips, myself, but I have very rarely dealt with a thing where my weapon range was longer than my radar range. It's extremely rare, considering the fact that I run Enhanced Scanners on all my ships that have a slot for it, but it does happen. For that kind of situation, I generally change my weapon type rather than mess with anything else. Projectile weapons don't generally work at that kind of range, so I use lasers as my weapon of choice in those situations.

lmao then what does this mean to u:

*Increase main weapon range by %
*Firing Range (Max)
*Radar Range (By your logic)
*Sensor Range.

So, about what are u talking?

The problem here that I'm talking about weapon range aka firing range which is mentioned on seed-chips, they don't increase range, they don't change anything.

I mean what is the purpose to have something if doesn't work nor even show any stats changed on my ship?

Really sit in chair and think!!!

There is no point.

sensor range = radar range and there's no chip that can increase that, it's allow you to see ships for futher distances
firing range (which chips can increase) is the range you can hit the enemy

And if chips doesn't work then explain me how can I do such dmg https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/383686654340366336/724002165559132271/20200501134215_1.jpg

you see? geyser have 3363m range but you can see that this archon is much futher and it's still in my firing range (cuz it's lighter) and this hercules in the distance is too far i can't hit him (cuz it's darker). That's why you need radar range to see them! If you can't see them then how you can check your weapon range?

Srry pal but u are completely out of point.
Arguing with u is pointless. :steamfacepalm:

seed chips works for me _ range / fire rate / etc _ but i don't really understand or feel like some properties are effective the way i think .

exemple :
_increased EM damages (not main weapon damages) does not increase active modules EM damages or lets say i don't see the effect.

_ i also wish 'mines and missiles' bonuses could work with drones or anyother 'missile' type items.

Yea I know bud, but check this. I'm talking about "Weapon Range" aka "Firing Range" on weapon. So, here is not point about "Sensor" like this previous guy was talk, cuz sensor only increase visibility of detection enemies, but not increases or decreases "Weapon range of fire".
And like I said before in my first post, weapon range on seed chips doesn't increases "Weapon range of fire"!

Range of fire is the range when u are able to open fire on enemies ship and harm them, which this image can shows to anyone and in that timing your "Aim point" becomes "White Red" colored!

I would suggest let the man live in his world he is evidenty unsure of his attributes so dont confuse him with facts. Ahh my singularity with its alotted weapon kills the Hunter at 6500 meters its a 4000 meter weapon. Do Seed Chips work? Why should i give my secrets away? also i have other weapons that can keep him stuck in one place so that he cant jump around and keep your thermal defenses up for he has a nasty way of cooking you. All done with the correct seed chips.

???? fire range do work correctly _ you dont need to 'lock' or see to touch _ try it on spe ops

i can detect at 7k and touch at 10k with tyrant and i dont care if i dont see the icon or even the dmg , it also do the same on hidden snipers and they die the same
where is the big deal here ? dont understand what you dont understand sorry
CapStar362 Jun 26, 2020 @ 7:47pm
he is just a misinformed noob who doesnt know how to target without having the target leader visible. i hit stuff all the time before i even get them on my sensors.
whitevalfore Jun 27, 2020 @ 2:35am
Trying to match up gun range with radar range is kinda difficult at best if using chips boosting gun range and yet the radar can only reach so far, higher gun range than radar requires some decent "pixel hunting" skills unless you have a friend helping spot targets for you.
iR0k Mar 20, 2024 @ 1:15pm
I've increased my shield volume by 500% with seed chips and I still die easily the same as without.
