Info on "Bees!" mod

If I can find those five of you in the community who actually know this mod, how do i get golden wood? If it's of any help, i downloaded this with the FrackingUniverse mod.

Pretty sure you need normal bees to make honey, then at the mod's special crafting table you should be able to make them.


Sorry, i stopped playing the game when the creative mod broke... it was either that, or when all my mods were wiped for an update. Can't remember.

Well, i think not. The golden planks are made with unrefined golden wood, but i haven't seen the golden wood in the crafting table. I only worked with normal honey bees so far, and made some beeswax, but nothing else. Am i doing something wrong? You know what, i'll ask on the official mod page on the forums. If anyone has something to say, feel free to write here. Thanks nontheless

Ok, found the problem on the mod page! Golden wood is made by forest bees! Didn't think that because i started farming bees in the first planet before ever doing anything else, sorry.

I have forest bees but they make only forest honeycombs. Does anybody have a solution?

You have to process Forest Honeycomes! They should give you unrefined Golden Wood

There's a tutorial questline for the bees portion if you go to the science center from the 'come visit us' flier in the ship safe.

Be careful continuing to use Bees!, if it's the standalone version. It was sadly removed from the workshop recently, and will reportedly receive no further updates. Itvalso is not fully compatible with 1.1 and will cause you to be kicked from some planets due to corrupted bee spawning.

I was sad when I had to uninstall it. I loved the mod :P

Yes of course I have, whenever i try swinging the bug net the hit animation happens and it aint captured. I have caught metal drones before in a cyber world. But in a yellow honey biome there are two bees and neither can be caught. Is there a third type of bee? IM unsure as this mod doesnt explain much in the way of the wiki or FU guides in game.
