Which one in particular, if you know?
I was unaware of this until seeing this post.
The modder in question had been gone for 4 years, came back, wanted his mod removed. He contacted Sayter and filed a report, and Sayter got into contact with him and happily removed the offending code and modwork, substituting his own to do the job instead. The actual issue has been resolved.
WHY it went down was entirely Steams fault. The DMCA, by the time it came through, mostly came down on a resolved issue. So its pretty much guaranteed to come back in a week to nine or so days. Dont think Sayters stolen content for a long time either, he tends to ask permission these days. This was very likely a piece of code he missed from the earlier days. I remember that mod being in there for a very long time when he picked it up.
