Game won't start on 64bits?
Hi all. I recently bought this game and I have a 64bit Windows 7, and I can't make the game launch by just selection "play starbound" which I assume is the 64bits version, right? It won't even start the application.
However if I select "play 32 bits" it works just fine (with some weird lagging sometimes). Also I plan on using mods once I'm familiar with the game, so I'm guessing I'm gonna need that extra ram, right?

My specs:
Windows 7 64bits
GTX960
FX6200 (bottlenecking my GPU, I know)
8 GB RAM

I'll be most grateful if someone could help me with this.

If that does not work, remove Starbound.config in your folder Starbound

Thanks for the response, ShindaaKun, but none of your fixes worked. Any other ideas?

It's something to do with the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Try repairing your install of that. Worked for me.
