Many unobtainable achievments
I guess these bugs were already reported, but just to be sure i will write them too.

So there are currently many achievements that cannot be unlocked, only found one which is only obtainable thorugh admin commands.
That one achievement, that you can only get with admin commands is the "You'ra aMAZEing!", you have to spawn the winning ticket via spawnitem command, because the maze game at the bar in the outpost isn't working.

The other achievements that seem to be completely unobtainable, even with admin commands, are:
- Not in front of the children
- Ending Prohibition
- Villain
- Schock and Awe
- Sweet Revenge
- Too Heavy to Kick

Haven't tried to get all achievements yet (mostly colony and collectible stuff), but these in the list here, i'm pretty sure doesn't work, because i tried to get these several times now.

Either remove these achievements or implement a way to get them again.

For someone like me, who always tries to get every single achievement in a game this is extremely demotivating... :angry_creep:

It looks like I'm not the only one unable to obtain achievements that you listed. That arcade maze game isn't working for me either, and I've defeated Mother Poptop several times without getting the "Not in front of the children" achievement. Killing several Robot Chickens didn't give me the "Too Heavy to Kick" achievement either.

Seems like every achievement that involves killing something is not working

Adding my own experiences to this list. I hope this is resolved soon.

Nox's Apprentice achievement is also unobtainable since a few weeks ago (kill another player). The developers should at least let us know they are aware of this and preparing to fix them, since as you said it seems to affect all the "kill x" achievements.

I have also not been able to unlock several of those achievments(if fact all of them). I'm certain i should have at least gotten the following of them:.
- Ending Prohibition
- Villain
- Schock and Awe

Killed a few mother poptops, never earned the "not in front of the children achievement". I wasn't aware a bunch of the other achievements were broken too. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

The patch released on 17.01.2017 stated that it fixed 'kill achievements not unlocking properly', so I went back to re-challenge the Shockhopper MK I in my mission log and the achievement 'Shock And Awe' still did not unlock.

I tried "Nox's Apprentice" (kill another player) with my old characters and it didn't unlock; but using a new one this time did the trick (after the update, that is).

So if you are still having problems with any "kill X" achievement, try with a new character, and that may do the trick (my assumption is that any achievement "unlocked" while the bug was up has bugged the character itself to unlock the achievement).

While I appreciate the feedback, that is extremely disappointing news. I do not understand why a simple binary value cannot be assigned to any character upon meeting the kill condition for an achievement target--a value which is checked upon entering the game or boarding one's ship.

Rather than continue to enjoy the main character I have played, the work that I have put into designing my ship, my colonies, and so much more, I feel forced to abandon that and start over from scratch. You may think it's not a very big deal to create again, but what bugs like this do is create the threat of it simply happening AGAIN. I could create another character and do all of the work I have done so far to reach that point of completion, only to have another set of bugs yet again nullify my characters' achievements and progress.

This has already happened twice before and it was an acceptable risk during the beta versions. Now that we are several months into full release, it is completely unacceptable that players should be asked to scrap their characters and worlds in order to circumvent simple bugs and errors. It does not make for an enjoyable play experience, least of all in a game whose mechanics are so focused upon creative construction and world-building.
