Getting suffocated in morph ball

So I was wandering a scorched planet and mined some ash piles - which act like loose silt, falling once disturbed - before hastily switching to a morphball. The result was me getting stuck and unable to switch out of morphball to dig my way out, making me slowly suffocate.

I understand that fixing this would be odd because it would require some sort of exception for when you can switch from morphball to player, but it would be nice.

A while ago they added something to help with just this kind of situation. If this happens to you again, hold down your transform key (don't just tap it) until you come out of distortion sphere form. Alternately, exiting the game and re-entering it will cause you to appear in humanoid form even if you left the game in distortion sphere form.
