What should I do whit these? I can't seem to find a use for them. They can't be melted or crafted.

Hold on to them for making platforms. Pretty much what I'm using them for.

Cant really make platforms with gravel and sand^^ and the rest, except the dirt, needs 12+ swings to dismantle..not a good mat for platforms.
But i guess we see a use for those or just put them in the trash.
Its not like we run out of space to store stufff...well i dont..yet^^

They are for building.

Gravel is great for mopping up water/lava pools underground.

You'll probably be able to use the Sand for Glass, as for gravel...well it's gravel, I don't know a lot of uses for gravel even in real life. :P

Most sand can be melted into glass. Dirt breaks in one hit with the best pickaxes so actually is really useful for making quick temporary structures, like for platforms or surrounding monsters to kill safely. I kept chests full of random materials like tar (I had over 18000 tar) because you can also use them to fill in the lava layer of a planet to reveal more ores, can burn through a full stack of something pretty quickly if you are filling everything in and only mining up the ores and making a path.
